I first experienced this work as a client. I emerged from my first session feeling it was like 10 years of therapy in just 2 hours. I knew, for the first time in a very long time, that I was going to be ok, and even better than ok.
I had been struggling for decades with CPTSD, depression and anxiety, and had pursued nearly every therapy and support available. This was the first time I experienced an immediate shift, and then, over time, deep change.
It didn't dream that I would be able to provide this kind of support to others. But I was invited to take a course, and it turned out that my natural intuitive ability and highly attuned perception was very useful. I took another course, and kept going, and fell in love with this work.
I have had wonderful, exciting, fulfilling careers in the performing arts directing and producing plays; in social work providing therapy to children and families; and in animal welfare, helping to found and run a farm animal sanctuary and education center with programs for people with trauma....and of all the beautiful experiences I have had, nothing compares to the sheer awe I experience and beauty I witness daily in this work, supporting clients to connect with their own Beings and live from their own depth.
I got my undergraduate degree in history from Princeton University, and later got my Masters of Social Work from NYU.
